ANDRE PAUL JUNGET
Illustrator and Fine Artist Fine art drawings, paintings, and limited edition hand-pulled stone lithographs
Andre Junget is a classic illustrator with a “twist.” His work is modern but gives a respectful nod to the past, reminiscent of great masters including Franklin Booth, William Heath Robinson, Virgil Finlay, Joseph Clement Coll, Bertram Grovesnor Goodhue, Robert Henri, and the Ashcan School, among many others. Self-taught, Junget began his career as a tool and die maker in the aerospace industry. He made components for the space shuttle and turbine jet engines.
Junget maintains his studio in Beacon, NY, in the historic Hudson Valley. His work has been featured in many books and publications and is included in the collection of numerous architectural and interior design firms. His work has been honored with Awards of Excellence from the American Society of Architectural Illustrators. He was elected to the Society of Illustrators with the gracious support of the renowned pen and ink illustrator and educator Murray Tinkleman.
In 2017, Junget was elected into the International Society of Scratchboard Artists and the Pastel Society of America in 2019.
Junget is also building a portfolio of hand-pulled stone lithographs with Jim Reed, Master Printmaker at Milestone Graphics in New Haven, CT.
